I really couldn't fault this lovely hotel. Room was immaculate and spacious, plenty of coffee, tea and bottles of water. Lovely sitting area by the bedroom window to look out onto the river. Breakfast was fantastic with so much to choose from. I would highly recommend.
Old victorian Hotel, just 8 rooms so booking essential. Only breakfast, no lunch or evening meal available. Plenty of eateries around. Free parking.
The hotel is amazing. Rooms are just fantastic, great set up. Location is fantastic (Matlock Bath is small so I suppose everywhere is a great Location ;) ) The breakfast absolutely chefs kiss. (The bacon is amazing). Thoroughly recommended to absolutely anyone.
A lovely weekend stay at a slightly quirky (in a good way) hotel in Matlock Bath. When I stayed the hotel had recently changed hands, the new owners were really nice, the hotel lovely, the breakfast superb and they have some great-sounding plans for the place! Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely hosts, they made us feel very welcome and looked after us while we were there. The hotel is quirky and full of character so if you're a fan of vintage style you'll love this. Breakfast was amazing also and the atmosphere felt like stepping back in time. Bathroom could use a revamp and a bigger shower. Small bits around the room could use a bit more dusting and/or mending. The room was very comfortable however and the bed was very clean and cozy. Location is great, you're right in the middle of the busy Matlock bath (on a summer day especially) and the fact it has free parking is ideal.

Quirky Hotel! oozing with history. Really hoping They go the distance with this venture! Breakfast was very tasty. Locally sourced sausages from a local butchers. The bacon was delicious. Can not thank Rob enough for his hospitality, we shall book again!
Very misleading from the outside and even perhaps when you enter, but the rooms were spotless with everything you'd get at a Premier Inn. It's a listed building, so it's old but well decorated. The breakfast was superb with loads of choice. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Nicely situated for sightseeing - parking on site (but up a steep hill but you are warned about this).
We dropped in for a drinks yesterday. We had a warm welcome, the coffee, hot chocolate and scones were lovely and arrived quickly. Lovely place, lovely people, we will be back.
